Our Mission
In our first year, we started small, with our family farm, a flock of pasture-raised chickens, and a dream to make a difference. Today, we are collecting fresh, farm-raised eggs for purchase in the community and beginning to share the joy of our chickens with residents of local assisted living facilities — bringing moments of delight, laughter, and connection to their day.
We officially became a 501(c)(3) organization in May of 2025. But this is only the beginning. Our vision is to grow into a thriving hub of community support. Our future goals include:
Food Access: Partnering with organizations to distribute eggs and fresh produce to underprivileged and vulnerable populations.
Animal Therapy: Expanding opportunities for people of all ages — especially children and the elderly — to experience the healing presence of animals, especially chickens and dogs (for the immediate future).
Enriching Activities: Hosting hands-on experiences such as flower arranging, teaching about the Nine Oak Farms, and sharing our passion of ensuring access to healthy foods to foster connection and joy.
Our nonprofit is fueled by a passionate board and the generosity of donors who believe in this mission. As we grow, we are committed to spending 100% of our efforts on these charitable and educational activities and hope to expand our reach beyond our local community in the years to come.
At Nine Oak Farms, every egg gathered, every chick held, and every smile shared is a step toward building a stronger, healthier, and more connected community.

Our founder's maternal grandparents, Louis and Gloria. Louis's parents started the family farm, and Louie and Gloria continued the tradition, teaching their children and grandchildren the value of hard work, living with the land, and sharing access to farm-fresh foods with family, friends, and community.
